Your roof line is your home’s first defence against the British weather, yet it is often the most overlooked part of the exterior. The roofline is the area where the roof meets the walls of your home:

  • Fascias: The straight board running along the lower edge of the roof, supporting the tiles and guttering.

  • Soffits: The underside of the roofline, which closes the gap between the wall and the fascia, allowing for eaves ventilation.

  • Guttering: The crucial system that manages rainwater drainage.

Why Replace?

  • Over time, traditional timber fascias and soffits can succumb to rot, water leakage and flaking paint - if left untreated can allow water to penetrate the rafters and cause expensive structural damage over time.

At Ribble Valley Windows and Doors, we go the extra mile and do a thorough job by stripping back 1 metre of the perimeter of the roof tiles to repair rotten tile battons & dry, crumbled felt before we replace the fascias and soffits.

A lot of companies do not do this … they just cover the original rotten fascia boards.
